Mission of Health For All Foundation

Health For All Foundation (HFA) is a national, not-for-profit organization engaged in research activities which does research to improve the health of individuals across the world by pursuing challenges posed by diseases through clinical, laboratory and epidemiologic research. The foundation aims to contribute to policy, based on research evidences and results.

The foundation helps people providing them best available and novel medicine which can improve their quality of life and extends life expectancy important to public health through translational clinical research.

It motivates communities and ensure they have accurate, trusted, and reliable information on the safety and effectiveness of drugs and vaccines. We will need a stronger focus on driving access to medicines and vaccines to combat both communicable diseases, like HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, neglected tropical diseases and hepatitis, and non-communicable diseases, like cancer, heart disease, chronic respiratory diseases and diabetes.

We collaborate with the global public health community on the development of optimized use of drug & vaccines.

HFA aspires to become a ‘Center of Excellence’ for the effective and affordable development of vaccines to fight the infectious diseases.

HFA aims to bridge the gaps between academia and product development by establishing proof-of-concepts for the development of drugs and vaccines.

HFA works in consultation with experts from the academia, industry, foundations, public health institutions and its own Strategic Advisory Group.

HFAF forge partnerships with governments, policy makers, multilateral and international organizations, public-private sector, research and technical institutes, NGOs, philanthropic organizations and other like-minded institutions. The Foundation is focussed on hospital and community based research of Adult and childhood illness and preventable diseases throughout the country.

The HFA Foundation is governed by a simple philosophy -"where every life counts".

Governance Structure: HFA Governing Body comprising of founder and individual members which meets once in a year. The overall coordination is by Centre for Health for All at New Delhi.

Scientific Advisory Council: The Scientific Advisory Council guides the group to identify important research questions, interventions, or technologies and then implement the research findings through partnership and networking with public and non-government institutions.

Ethics Review Committee: HFA has a registered ethics committee (Ethics Review Committee). The committee comprises of basic/medical scientists, social scientists, clinicians, legal experts and community representatives.

HFA Team: The HFA comprises of outstanding professionals dedicated to the promotion of health. The investigators from HFA have been working for several years on community based research related to vaccines.
